Gingrich Running, Will Announce Thursday [Update: Or Not?]

Yesterday’s news  that Newt Gingrich is planning to announce a run for President within the next two weeks has been closely followed by new information: he will announce his bid the day after tomorrow at the Georgia State Capitol in Atlanta, following a meeting with Georgia governor Nathan Deal, who has pledged to support him if he runs.

UPDATE: Gingrich aides are now stating that he will not announce his bid on Thursday. It is unclear why  the campaign appears to be leaking conflicting information to the media.
